Cor La De M

“Cori” is a tall, powerful, flashy 2017 filly by Cunningham out of our RPSI hunter mare La De Da. She is registered and branded Westfalen with a German passport, and has been microchipped and DNA tested.

Cori is a barn favorite, very calm and well-mannered. Both her sire and dam had successful careers as hunters, and we expect Cori to follow in their talented hoof prints.

Sire: Cori’s sire is the imported 17.1 h Holsteiner stallion, Cunningham, who is known for endowing his foals with both his mellow personality and impressive jump. Cunningham garnered more than 80 hunter championships and year-end awards prior to his retirement. Good balance, good looks, and fantastic temperament are Cunningham hallmarks that Cori has inherited in full measure.

Dam: Cori’s dam, La De Da, was a successful 17 h conformation hunter who retired to broodmare duties. She has produced a number of lovely foals for Maefield Farm, but Cori is by far the tallest and most extravagantly-marked foal to date. All of La De Da’s foals have excellent jumping form and movement. La De Da is a tall, personable and well-trained mare, and her foals have benefitted from her calm but devoted mothering.

Cori is tall like her parents who also provide Cori with a double-dose of good sense, trainability, and classic hunter traits. Show her on the line and as a young horse before she goes under saddle. She’ll be a winner all around!
